Siew obtained her undergraduate medical degree (MBBS) at the University of New South Wales in 2000. She started practising medicine in Malaysia and completed the UK specialist entry examinations in 2006 (MRCP). She returned to Perth to complete two specialist training programmes, General Medicine and Nephrology in 2014. She is currently a consultant at the Midland SJOG Public and Private Hospitals and also co-Head of the Department of Medicine.
Siew believes that her training in General Medicine has helped her to look after patients in a more holistic manner. Her first love is nephrology but also likes to be challenged with general medical patients.
