Michael Lim is a Gastroenterologist Specialist
Background: Michael treats all adult gastroenterological conditions with special interests for Inflammatory Bowel Disease and Gastro-Immunology. He was born in Singapore and moved to Australia when he completed his national service. Michael completed his medical desgree (MBBS) in 2009 from the University of Western Australia and attained his specialty regognition in Gastroenterology (FRACP) in 2020. During his time in Specialist training he also completed a Master’s degree from the University of Edinburgh with his thesis on Inflammatory Bowel Disease.
Clinics: Michael treats and works with patients both Privately and Publically through the St John of God Midland Hospital and at Midland Medical Specialist.
Personal: Michael is passionate about patient care and believes that if the patient is physically active it helps the treatment process. He promotes a welcoming and non-judegmental space for all patients to discuss any isues and provides the best information for patients to make an informed choice about their health.
